Webkvolk. 17 years ago. Do NOT plant Siberian elm unless you want to be fighting a battle with eraticating the weeds that come up from the abundant seed crop. It would make an OK hedge and grows very fast under adverse conditions but it is a real weed. I spent my childhood weeding these out of garden and flower beds.
