WebApr 29, 2016 · get Foxtel to do the job. it's not like doing a tv antenna. Not saying this is a bad idea, but I got a local TV/Satellite guy to align dish/LNB at out holiday home. I get better signal strength than our main home. Price was very reasonable too. IMO, not worth the time and effort/expense to learn to do it myself for a one off project. There is nowhere on an offset dish to place an angle finder that will give you a direct adjustment angle reading. Unless you know the dish offset angle, you will be pointing the dish incorrectly, usually way too high. WebSimply plug the unit into the dish and use the signal level bars to align you dish and once the level bars go green and the signal beeper is sounding the dish is aligned correctly and you are on the correct satellite.
