Real sound engine, didn't really open the hood for a few months and when i did it was just to check oil. I don't think there is anything wrong with a small base circle cam.

They might drop low enough to fall below the dog bones/anti-rotation device and they will rotate and destroy your cam at least. You have the block and if you have the cam mock it up.
